The Stanzas Poetry Series brings poetry to the English Theatre Berlin with a diverse range of poets writing in English from Berlin and beyond. Each month, Stanzas will feature poets who will share their work, followed by a discussion and question & answer session with the audience.
The series is hosted by American poet and Berlin resident Michael Haeflinger .
Award-winning poet, comedian and vocalist MC Jabber with thoughts on cyanide chewing gum, Jaws on Ice, heads-free phones, anti-time, rainbow paint, pseudo-masochism, king-size mini-rolls, Nazi radio, acoustic Death Metal, laptop dancers, Klingon insults, sushi waffles, duodecimal ulcers, the plural of ‘chaos’, angst-a rap, horny antelopes, the collective term for black holes, balcony etiquette, coffee patterns, virtual massage and, of course, the Big Bang, without which none of this would have been possible.
