IMPRO 2010 - 9th INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL FOR IMPROV THEATRE
featuring CRUMBS, GORILLAS - plus a whole bunch of international surprise guests.
Crumbs feat. DJ Hunnicutt
In 2001 they came as spring chicken. Now they are at the best age for improv and darlings of many a festival. The next step sees them present another state-of-the-art: DJ Hunnicutt now not only delivers the sounds but also mixes video sequences into the Crumbs’ performance, thereby emphasising the exquisite cinematic quality of a Crumbs show.

Thursday, 1 April at 8 pm:
Shakespeare
The improvised Shakespeare show at the 2005 Festival staggered even experienced improv audiences about what kind of stories can be told by way of improvisation, so that an evening in the style of the great master is back at last on the agenda.
Featuring Unexpected Productions, the improv veterans lead by Randy Dixon, USA award-winners for their improvised Shakespeare. You’re in for a very special theatre treat!
Friday, 2 April and Saturday, 3 April at 8 pm:
Commedia dell’Arte
The festival in search of the origins of improv: Commedia dell’Arte is one of the oldest theatre genres. We have invited an expert in this field: Fabio Mangolini, director of the Theatre of Ravenna. He will be training the Festival ensemble and on two evenings actors will relish the opulence of this primal improv form - in all theatrical languages.
